Canadian cyber psycho arrested while surfing the net in Berlin

The Canadian model, gay porn and snuff film star suspected of the murder and dismemberment of a university student from China was arrested in Berlin today.

Luka Rocco Magnotta was discovered in an cafe by German police, who are positive they have apprehended the correct man. Montreal officials are awaiting more information before validating the arrest.

“He is in jail, and will go to a judge tomorrow. Our goal is to bring him to Canada as quickly as possible,” said Captain Busch of the Berlin police.

An international search for the 29 year old was issued last week after the body parts of Lin Jun, 33, Magnotta's ex lover, were discovered in packages addressed to political parties in Ottowa.

Jun had only been in Canada for a year and was studying computer sciences at Concordia University before the brutal slaying. Footage of the murder was posted on internet gore sites. Frequenters of the websites debated for days over the authenticity of these videos.

Montreal police began their investigation when the torso of a man was discovered in a dumpster in a low income area of Montreal.

Magnotta once published a blog post titled, "How To Completely Disappear And Never Be Found", but left a digital trail through cell phone signals and video surveillance which aided in his arrest.  He was spotted by airport security cameras on Saturday at Montreal's Trudeau Airport, fleeing the country on a flight heading for France, one day after the gruesome video was posted online.

The Scarborough native has since gained international notoriety, being dubbed the 'Canadian Psycho'.
